I’m an experienced writer and love nothing more than unearthing the stories lying at the heart of, well, pretty much everything! I’ve crafted copy for commercials and corporates, for research centres and higher education providers, and freelanced creatively, writing poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction for over a decade. I like to think that I understand the power and magic of words – their ability to conjure connections and inspire change and engagement. I’ll work with you to understand who you are, what you want to say and who you’re trying to reach. Using creative copywriting to help you communicate effectively
I’ve got lots of experience delivering complex communications at a national, regional and local level, for corporates, creatives, and non-profits. I’ve led and delivered Communications for the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Exeter Biomedical Research Centre, the NHS, the University of Plymouth and the University of Exeter and have had creative work, press releases, blogs and articles published in local, regional and national outlets. More than anything I love to hear and tell stories. I’m especially interested in working with independent businesses, charities, not-for-profit organisations and local producers working with a focus on sustainability.
