During the lockdowns I fell in love with what audio could do. There’s something to be said for life in the box room, for playing around with your work and voice when you should probably be doing something else.
Tell Me Something was born out of a frustration at not being able to do live gigs. I still wanted to connect with poets and to help get their work out to connect with others. So I learned how to use Audacity and began to stitch together contributed poems with nature and urban sounds in to a transporting soundscape. I’ve also become a regular contributor to Crediton Radio, recording blogposts and an interview which listeners can download from the website.
